Appearance
Height: 6'3"
Race: Caucasian.
Body Type: He is slightly overweight since he eats a lot of junk food and drinks a lot of beer. He isn't that bothered by it.
Hair Color: Orange.
Eyebrows:
  Type- Thin.
  Color- Orange.
Eyelashes:
  Length- Short.
  Color- Black.
Eye Color: Green.
Teeth: Straight although he has a lot of cavities because of all the junk he eats.
Scars:
-A faded scar across his right shoulder. (A bullet wound gotten during the Battle of Germantown in the Revolution. It was a loss for the US.)
-A pretty large scar on his right arm near his wrists. (Received from the Battle of Gettysburg. Although it was a win for the Union the Union still lost more lives. It was one of the most gruesome battles in american history.)
Body Mods: N/A
Outfits:
Main Outfit- A brown jacket over a blue t-shirt. A small star on the left side of the jacket. A pair of blue jeans and brown boots.
Style- Brian doesn't really care for style or looking presentable. He'll wear just about anything but hes the most comfortable in jeans and jackets. He also has a lot of camouflage clothing he saves for hunting season. But still wears them year-round.
Relations
Family:
-Delaware/Maxwell. (Max is Brian's older brother. Brian attempts to be nice to him and tease him a lot but Max never seems to appreciate it. He always seems annoyed which bothers Brian a lot. He struggles to get a positive reaction out of him and has just about given up and accepted that Max just doesn't like him.)
Significant Other:
-Ohio/Joanna. (Joanna and Brian are married. They were married by the government to ease tension over the Rockefeller and Carnegie feud that was happening between them at the time. When they first got married they didn't actually love each other but as time went on Brian found himself fallen for her and they remain happily married.)
Pets:
-A male Great Dane. (Name to be decided.) The state dog of PA is the Great Dane.
Best Friend(s):
-New Jersey/Jay. (They've been best friends ever since they were kids. They trust each other with everything and barely get mad at the other. They've known each other since they were children in the 1600s and automatically became best friends. Brian puts Jay before himself and everyone else. He hates seeing him upset and will do whatever he can to cheer him up again. Overall they spend a lot of time together usually seeing each other every week.)
Friend(s):
-New York/James. (They usually get along and often have the same opinion on things. They aren't the closest but are still friends. Brian knows that Jay would have a problem if they became close so he only hangs out with him to make Jay mad when he cancels plans. Other than that they have an ongoing joke where they flirt with each other despite neither of them being interested. Plus, James is the only person actually interested in his fursona series.)
-Connecticut/Edison. (They hang out a lot due to both being friends with Jay. Brian usually doesn't get along with him because of how uppity and boring he is. He likes Edison more when hes drunk.)
-Connecticut/Abby. (The two are pretty close friends. They joke about being a couple a lot to annoy other states. But other than that they hang out and go hunting frequently.)
Distant Friend(s):
  -N/A
Frenemies:
  -N/A
Disliked:
-Maryland/Mark. (Despite having similar personalities they are far from friends. Due to border disputes when they were colonies a war was fought between the two and they haven't liked each other since. It didn't help that Mark liked Brian's brother and dated Jay for a while. It bothered him to an extreme. Although in the present day they stay clear of each other. Brian often makes fun of him behind his back but definitely isn't afraid to voice it to his face.)
Enemies:
  -N/A
Speech
Voice Claim: Undecided.
Languages:
-Swedish. The first language he started learning. He never finished learning it since he started learning Dutch instead. He has completely forgotten how to speak Swedish he can't recall a single word.
-Dutch. The first language he learned entirely. He spoke it for quite a while.
-German. He knows a few German words and phrases due to the influence but would be lost if he had to structure a sentence.
-English. The second language he learned completely. He had a lot of trouble with it at first and spoke in broken English for a while. He got a hang of it eventually.
Accent: A mix between a Philadelphia accent and a Pittsburgh accent. The Pittsburgh accent was once voted the ugliest accent in America but that never bothered Brian. He thought it was pretty funny.
Misc.
Religion: Christian. The most popular religion in the state. He isn't completely obsessed with his religion to the point where he thinks he has to go to church and pray everyday. He figures God won't mind if he only goes once in a while. He really loves the holidays that go along with it, especially Christmas.
Residence:
Main- A farmhouse in... (to be edited)
  Other- (To be edited)
Vehicle(s):
-A gray Ford F 150. He never cleans or takes care of the exterior of it so it has a few scratches and is covered in dirt most of the time. He doesn't mind. He does keep the inside pretty clean though.
Allergies: None.
Dominant Hand: Right-handed.
Headcanons
Factual:
-Doesn't have a fear of ghosts. Also thinks his house is haunted. Pennsylvania is one of the most haunted states. The most haunted house in the country was once considered to be the Congeleier house in Pittsburgh. Brian thinks ghosts are pretty cool and doesn't mind that his house is haunted.
-He has dirty sense of humor. Its very similar to that of a middle schooler. Pennsylvania has many inappropriate town names. For example Intercourse, PA and Blue Balls, PA.
-Goes all out for Christmas. Tries to get the biggest and best Christmas tree. Indiana County is the Christmas tree capital of the world. The downtown area is also decorated every year to the theme of Its a Wonderful Life, which is Brians favorite Christmas movie.
-Hes a furry and actually owns a partial fursuit. The worlds largest furry convention occurs every year in Pittsburgh and Brian tries his best to attend it every year. He also makes a ton of furry related art and made fursonas for all the other states and himself. His own fursona is a deer.
-Sometimes he attends the crossing of the Delaware reenactment on Christmas. Every Christmas day the scene is reenacted at Washington Crossing.
-Has a fascination with steel mills. Pittsburgh is famous for manufacturing steel. Pennsylvania also leads the country in the production of specialty steel.
-He accidentally breaks things all the time. Represents the Liberty Bell that is in PA. He still uses and keeps the things he breaks though he doesn't care.
-Prefers not to go to the ocean. Pennsylvania is the only state out of the original 13 that did not border the ocean. He'd rather swim in lakes and other bodies of water in the summer time.
-Sometimes spells his own state name wrong so he usually just uses the abbreviation. There has been a lot of misspellings of the word "Pennsylvania" throughout history. One example being on the liberty bell. Although at the time the official spelling for the name wasn't decided. Also a lot of people from the state call it by the abbreviation "PA" rather than saying the full word. When Brian does misspell it he doesn't even bother changing it he just leaves it.
-Owns a lot of crayola crayons. He has a lot of boxes laying around the hosue and uses them to color is furry artwork. The crayola factory is in Lehigh Valley, PA.
-Only named a state dog because Mark did. Pennsylvania named a state dog a year after Maryland. Maryland being the first to pick one and Pennsylvania being the second. He mostly did it to be petty but also because he lowkey got inspired.
Other:
-Its very hard to gross him out. He can witness anything gross without having a reaction.
-Naturally smiles constantly. Its just his resting face he can't help it.
-Enjoys taking ugly and unflattering pictures of himself for snapchat.
-Doesn't get drunk that easily and when he is drunk its very hard to tell.
-Listens to country music most of the time. He still enjoys pop and other genres but country is his favorite.
-Has tons of sketchbooks full of his artwork. They all have stickers of anthro characters on the front.
-Rarely gets embarrassed. Its near impossible for his friends to embarrass him as a joke so they usually don't even try.
  -Finds southern girls really attractive.
-Not romantic at all. Its not that he doesn't know how to be. He just doesn't want to be. He thinks its lame.
-Makes fun of himself a lot to be funny.
-Has a deviantart for his furry art. He has a core membership and his page is decorated with pixel gif animation commissions of his characters. He doesn't have that big of a following but he still enjoys posting.

Personality
Traits:
Positive- Honest, loyal, humorous, laid back, smart, kind, protective, empathetic, fearless.
  Negative- Blunt, dirty-minded.
Overview: One of Brian's most recognizable traits is how honest he is. Everything he says is the truth or his raw thoughts. He doesn't exaggerate the stories he tells to make them more interesting he just says it how he sees it. It can be helpful most of the time especially when it comes to giving others advice, which hes really good at. Hes able to put himself in other peoples shoes and see a situation from their eyes and give his honest advice based on that. Although, sometimes his honesty isn't always that great since he can easily say something inappropriate or hurt someones feelings. Brian is extremely blunt and his honesty can sometimes be brutal. He never means to hurt peoples feelings in fact he really hates doing that and dislikes seeing people upset but he just can't help but have no censor at all.
Although he's brutally honest he can be pretty loyal to his friends or anyone, and is really good at keeping secrets. Hes very trustworthy and will come through if anyone needs him for anything. Hes the type of person that will drop anything hes doing no matter how important if someone needs his help, even someone he doesn't like too much, and will help them with no complaints.
He's pretty carefree. He doesn't care about others opinions on him. As long as hes content with himself thats the only thing that matters. Its hard to rain on his parade and leave him insulted. He usually just laughs it off or just doesn't care. Brian can easily find the good in any situation. He has no problem looking on the positive side and can find something good about the worst things.
Overall, Brian can come off as a rude person at times but he genuinely cares about others and loves to help them and make them happy.
Bad Habits: Brian has a bad habit of speaking his mind without thinking of the consequences. Hes never afraid to state his opinion even when someone isn't asking for it. He doesn't beat around the bush and gets right to the point hes trying to make even when its inappropriate or not needed. This leads others to think he is a rude person.
He also has a bad habit of never finishing anything he starts. He claims hes going to complete a task but he ends up putting it to the side and never touch it again. By the time he realizes he forgot about it he is already over it and puts it off even longer. This can badly affect his work and other big projects he planned on doing.
Although its not that bad of a habit to have Brian will often put others before himself. He usually ends up taking care of other people before he even thinks about taking care of himself. This can put him in bad places health wise and affect other aspects of his life.
Fears: Brian fears the nation being torn apart. The civil war was one of the worst points in his life where he was miserable and ashamed in himself. The keystone state was supposed to keep everyone together and he felt as if he failed everyone. He never wants to feel that awful ever again or have other states spiteful of the country.
Interests
Talents: Brian loves hunting and is really good at it. Surprisingly Pennsylvania leads the country in hunting. He has a lot of deer heads and antlers on the walls of his house and looks forward to hunting season every year.
He can play the piano pretty well. Philadelphia is home to the first American built piano. Brian has been playing since the late 1700s. He has a very old piano in his home but he doesn't really play that often anymore. He still enjoys sitting down once in a while and just playing some of his favorite songs though.
Favorite Color: Blue and gold. The state colors of Pennsylvania. Also seen on the state flag.
Favorite Animal: The White-tailed deer is his favorite animal. It's the state animal and is often seen roaming in the state. It's his favorite animal even though he enjoys hunting them.
He also loves Great Danes which is the state dog of Pennsylvania. Its his favorite kind of dog and he loves how tall they are.
Favorite Food(s): Brian loves cheesesteaks. Philly cheesesteaks originated in Pennsylvania and are really popular especially with tourists and residents of the state. Its his favorite food of all time and he eats it pretty often.
Pennsylvania is also home to a lot of sweets and junk food such as water ice, peeps, utz chips, soft pretzels, and TasteyKakes. All of which Brian loves. He has a very unhealthy diet, not a day goes by where he doesn't eat junk. He also likes a couple different types of cookies such as chocolate chip, sugar, and oatmeal. All of which have been proposed to be the state cookie. A decision just can't be made but its leaning toward the chocolate chip.
Speaking of chocolate, Brian has a slight obsession with it. The Hershey company was founded in Pennsylvania and Hershey is considered the chocolate capital of the United States. Brian can never leave a store without buying any Hersheys and has a lot laying around his house and car.
The only healthy foods he really likes and goes out of his way to eat are black cherries and mushrooms. Kane, PA is known as the black cherry capital of the world. Brian enjoys putting a bunch in a bowl and eating them like candy. Kennett Square is known as the mushroom capital of the world. Pennsylvania soil is perfect for growing mushrooms. Half of americas mushroom supply comes from Kennett Square. They have a two day mushroom parade every year and even drop a mushroom on new years.
Favorite Drink(s): Brian mostly likes alcoholic drinks. His favorite is Yuengling. Its the oldest beer company in the US and was founded in Pottsville, Pennsylvania.
Favorite Flower: Mountain-Laurel. The state flower. He also likes the Penngift Crownvetch which is the state plant and was discovered on a farm in PA.
Favorite Sports/Teams: He loves baseball, hockey, and football. The first baseball stadium was built in Pittsburgh. He likes all the teams from his state but his favorites are the Phillies, Penguins, and the Eagles.
Other Likes:
-Being on the computer. Pennsylvania was home to the first computer. Brian isn't addicted to his computer or anything he just enjoys being on it. He'd rather use that for watching videos or visiting websites rather than using his phone.
-Sheetz. A popular store throughout the state and some others. The headquarters for it is located in Altoona, PA. Brian visits it at least once a day and claims that its way better than wawa.. Even though he also loves wawa which is also seen in the state.
-Fireflies. The state insect of Pennsylvania. He tries to catch them if he has nothing to better do around the season or sit outside and watch them fly around and glow.
-Trains and railroads. Pennsylvania has three state locomotives, The GG1 4859, K4s 1361, and K4s 3750. Pennsylvania also has a lot of records for railroads like the oldest stone railroad bridge is located in Susquehanna County. Also, when it was first built, the Kinzua Railroad Bridge claimed to be the highest and longest railroad in the world. He thinks trains are cool and enjoys seeing them. He can name the many different types.
-The zoo. The first zoo in the United States was built in Philadelphia in the late 1800s. Brian loves going to the zoo. He takes plenty of pictures of all the animals.
-Golf. Surprisingly he doesn't find golf boring. He can make it fun especially when hes with friends. The oldest golf course in the nation is located in Clarion which he goes to a couple times a year.
-Dinosaurs. The T-Rex to be specific. The first complete Tyrannosaurus skeleton is in Pittsburgh.
-Ferris wheels. Pittsburgh holds claims to the first ferris wheel. Whenever he goes to amusement parks he won't leave without going on the ferris wheels.
-Guns. Being fascinated with hunting he knows a lot about guns and owns a few. His favorite gun is the Long Rifle also known as the Pennsylvania/Kentucky rifle which is the state rifle of PA since it originated there.
Dislikes: Brian really does not like people who lie a lot. Especially people who lie to avoid saying rude things. He gets really bothered by it and cringes whenever he hears it happen. He can usually tell when people are lying and pushes them to spit out the truth. He doesn't understand why people would lie about things that don't even matter.
Brian also cannot stand seeing people physically fight. He thinks its stupid and doesn't solve anything. If he sees a fight happening or about to happen he'll make an attempt to break it up.
