-Connecticut/Edison. (Edison and Raimond are really close friends and have a lot in common. They both love spending time with each other. They enjoy going hiking together and setting their dogs up on play dates.)

-New York/James. (James is Raimonds ex boyfriend. Raimond fell head over heels in love with him and thought it was a dream come true when they started going out in the mid 1700s. Their relationship wasn't as great as he expected. They argued a lot because of James' constant cheating and lying. Things didn't help when Evan came along. Raimond hated how James treated him and they often argued about that. Their relationship was on and off for a few years before they broke up for a final time. All of Raimonds love for him turned to hatred as he struggled to get Evan back from him. Raimond was still deeply hurt and scarred by the relationship but over a hundred years later he can finally stand being around James and actually enjoy having him as a friend. They just never mention what happened in the past.)

Religion: Atheist. According to a poll 52% of people in New Hampshire identify as non-religious, making NH one of the least religious state in the country. Raimond doesn't care that much for religion and grows incredibly bored when people talk to him about it. Hes just not interested and would hate to be dragged to church.

Main- A log cabin in (town to be decided.) Its far away from neighbors and stores but Raimond likes it a lot. He stays here the most and is rarely seen away for too long.

-A townhouse in Concord. He doesn't visit often at all and has debated selling it or renting it out to someone else a few times.

-A snowmobile. The snowmobile was invented in Ossipee, New Hampshire. Many people in the state own one. Raimond has a lot of fun with it and enjoys going down trails.
-A red touring motorcycle. When measured per-capita New Hampshire is ranked second for most people with motorcycles. The state also has a very popular Motorcycle Week every year in June, located in Laconia. Since theres only about 2 months that are warm enough for riding, Raimond uses it as much as possible during that time. He keeps it in his garage under a cover the rest of the time.

Factual:
-Fast worker. He gets any task he needs to do done with extra time to spare. The USS Albacore was built in New Hampshire in 1953 and it was the fastest submarine ever built. Other states are often impressed by the speed he works at.
-Hums the nursery rhyme "Mary Had a Little Lamb" a lot. Especially when hes focused. The rhyme was written by Sarah Josepha Hale who was from New Hampshire.
-Collects coins. The first sculptor to design an American coin was from NH. Raimond goes to auctions and coin shops to expand his collection and tries his best to keep them in perfect condition.
-A hardcore feminist. The first woman's strike in the US took place at a cotton factory in New Hampshire. Also home to Marilla Ricker, the first woman to attempt to vote in 1870 and also first woman to attempt to run for governor in 1920.
-Plays the lottery everyday. NH started the first legal lottery in the USA. Its the longest running lottery in the continental United States. He has never won big but he has won at most a couple hundred at a time. He usually puts it into savings or donates it to a charity he supports.

-He cried when the Old Man of The Mountain collapsed. It was a series of granite cliff edges that looked similar to a mans face on Cannon Mountain in New Hampshire. It was a fun place for tourists and residents to visit. Although it collapsed in 2003. Raimond visited it many times before it was gone.

Overview: Raimond is a very friendly and ambitious person. He loves challenging himself and believes he can do anything he puts his mind to. Once he has a goal in mind its near impossible to convince him to do otherwise. He lives to make himself proud and happy but of course doesn't stop at that. He also enjoys making others happy and really dislikes disappointing others and himself.
He also dislikes leaving people out. He makes an effort to include everyone and make sure they are comfortable in his presence. Raimond ends up feeling upset if someone is uncomfortable around him and will try his best to change that.
Unfortunately, his sense of humor can sometimes cause him to accidentally make others feel uneasy. Raimond has a random type of humor. Hes unpredictable and will catch others off guard with his jokes and manner. He is very strange and that may sometimes freak out people especially those he doesn't know so well. Around friends Raimond will let it all out to amuse them and himself. Although he tries to watch his goofy self around strangers and acquaintances, sometimes he just can't help it.
Raimond is also very confident. He likes who he is and what he does. He doesn't let other people's judgement get to him when its about his appearance and goals. Raimond is well aware his wardrobe is outdated and the goals he sets may be too hard to reach, but frankly he doesn't care. Just because hes confident doesn't mean hes egotistical or self centered. Hes willing to admit he has flaws and can handle criticism from other people. He can admit when hes done something wrong and works to change himself for the better, all while still being confident.
Although Raimond is a friendly person, like everyone else, he does have his days where hes nothing but grumpy. He does have a short temper and certain things can annoy him very easily. Most of the time he can control it but other days he makes sure to stay a couple feet away from others. These days he won't be as talkative and will keep to himself.

Fears: Raimond is really afraid of wolves. If he hears anything similar to a howl he'll tense up. Wolves are illegal to import into New Hampshire which Raimond is thankful for. He doesn't want more wolves in the area. Sightings are pretty rare in the present day but Raimond is still anxious.
He is also afraid of aliens. He especially fears being abducted by them. The first publicized alien abduction in the United States happened in New Hampshire. Its known as the Hills Abduction where a couple claimed to be taken by extraterrestrials. Although Raimond is afraid of them he still remains up to date on all the UFO sightings and abductions.
Interests
Talents: Raimond is very talented at skiing. Its the state sport and New Hampshire is full of ski resorts. It does have some of the largest ski mountains on the east coast after all. Raimond tries to go several times a year and considers himself an expert. He loves racing his friends to the bottom of a mountain.
Favorite Color: Yellow, Red, and Orange are his favorite colors. All the colors of Autumn, his favorite season. They are also the proposed state colors.
Favorite Animal(s): Raimond loves many animals but one of his all time favorites is the white tail deer. The state animal of NH, also commonly seen in the state. he thinks they're cool and look pretty.
He really really loves dogs especially the Chinook, the state dog. He gets so excited whenever he sees a dog of any breed and wants to pet them so badly. Pictures of puppies never fail to cheer him up.
Raimond also likes the state amphibian, the red-spotted newt. He thinks their colors are pretty.
Bobcats are another animal he likes. They're the state wildcat. Raimond likes seeing them in pictures and from a safe distance but wouldn't really want to get that close to one even though bobcat attacks aren't common.
As for bugs he likes ladybugs and the karner blue butterfly, the state insect and butterfly. He makes sure to be careful around them so he doesn't accidentally hurt them.
Favorite Food(s): Beef is one of Raimonds favorite foods. New Hampshire ranked second in the United States for beef consumption. Any dish that involves beef Raimond probably likes. Steak Bombs especially. The sub is widely known throughout the state. He loves it and thinks its way better than any Philly cheesesteak can be.
He also likes potatoes whether their baked or mashed. The potato is the state vegetable. Its believed that the first white potato in America was planted in Londonderry in 1719. He also likes apples and sweet corn which are among the top five crops planted in NH.
As for breakfast he enjoys pancakes with maple syrup. New Hampshire diners have great pancakes and maple syrup is pretty big in the state. Raimond likes going to diners to have this but most of the time he makes it at home.
For a snack Raimond likes to have yogurt. People in New Hampshire love yogurt. They even have a farm where anybody can learn how its made.
Pumpkin pie is one of his favorite deserts. He likes anything flavored like pumpkin, its the state fruit after all. He'll try anything pumpkin flavored with out any hesitation. He also likes maple sundaes and cider donuts which are popular desserts in New Hampshire. If he has a chance to order one he will.
Favorite Drink(s): Apple cider, the state drink, is his favorite. He knows how to make it from scratch whether its alcoholic or not. He enjoys giving a bottle of it to other states he likes as a gift.
Favorite Flower: Purple lilac which is the state flower. As well as Pink Lady's Slippers which is the state wildflower.
Favorite Sports/Teams: Raimond isn't a die hard sports fan. He does like to watch baseball but only if the Red Sox are playing. Any other major sport he just doesn't care about.
Other Likes:
-Hiking. The state is known for its many beautiful hiking trails and many people from the state enjoy the activity. Raimond finds it peaceful yet challenging. His favorite part is the scenery and the views you can get. His favorite place to hike is Mount Washington which is the tallest mountain in the Northeast. Its pretty challenging but worth the view, you can see across three states and Canada from the top. He often goes hiking alone but he sometimes brings a friend or his dog.
-Autumn. His favorite season. New Hampshire is known for having the most beautiful scenery in this season. People often visit just to watch the leaves change. Raimond loves the fall vibes.
-Bike racing. The Mount Washington Hillclimb, starting in 1904, is the oldest auto race in America. Raimond tries to attend every year.
-The movie Jumanji (1995). It was set and filmed in Keene, NH. He loves watching it during movie nights with his friends.
-The ocean. Even though New Hampshire has only 18 miles of coastline, the shortest out of all the states, residents still enjoy the little beach it has and so does Raimond.
-Thanksgiving. A woman from New Hampshire wrote letters to five different presidents trying to make Thanksgiving an official holiday. Abraham Lincoln finally agreed in 1863 in hopes to bring a sense of unity during the civil war. Its Raimond's favorite holiday he takes it very seriously. He loves being with the people he cares about and making them treats for it.

Dislikes: Bad drivers, especially drivers from Massachusetts. When he sees an MA license plate he automatically knows to put his guard up and prepare for some awful driving.
Raimond doesn't like cities that much. New Hampshire doesn't have many cities and the few it does have has very small populations. He doesn't like how loud and busy they are. He prefers to be in a small town where he can actually relax.
Even though Raimond loves living in the middle of no where far away from any businesses he sometimes dislikes how long it takes to travel to the store especially if hes in a rush. He doesn't mind it most of the time, he likes the peaceful drives but sometimes he just gets really annoyed.
Raimond can't seem to decide whether he dislikes guns or not. Half of him thinks hunting with them is cool but another half of him never wants to see one again.
