Main Outfits- A white dress shirt underneath a pale blue sweater. A white pin of a star on his left side. Khakis and white tenis shoes. He wears a silver and blue wristwatch on his left wrist.
Style- Edison enjoys dressing somewhat classy but still comfortable. He barely has any sense of fashion though so some of his outfits are a hit or miss. He doesn't like going out in casual outfits like t-shirts and jeans. The only time he wears a somewhat casual outfit is during the summer.

-Massachusetts/Elizabeth. (Elizabeth is Edison's older sister. They get along pretty well although Elizabeth finds him annoying at times. Edison loves and admires her to no end. He often gets jealous when she hangs out with other people too much and gets upset when they go long periods of time without interacting.)
-Rhode Island/Ian. (Younger brother. Their relationship is really close. They rarely get into arguments and when they do they don't last that long. The two hang out a lot and share a love of drinking, they enjoy getting drunk together.)

-A European praying mantis. (Contrary to popular belief it is not illegal to kill or own a praying mantis in the United States. The state insect of Connecticut is a praying mantis which is why Edison likes them so much. He finds them cool and keeps his in a terrarium thats way too big for it.)

-New Hampshire/Raimond. (Edison and Raimond are very close. They have a lot in common and hang out often. They like doing outside activities together. Edison really likes him and enjoys his company. He also really loves his dog.)

-New Jersey/Jay. (Edison and Jay are very different and only really get along when they're drunk. Edison can't deal with how obnoxious he is and doesn't appreciate how much he curses or how rude he is to others. He's just too nice to tell Jay he doesn't want to be friends. They're more on the lines of drinking buddies than friends though.)
-New York/James. (James is more of a drinking buddy than a friend. Edison and James' relationship is very similar to Edison and Jay's. Edison doesn't like how loud he is and is constantly telling him to shush when they hang out together. He only has fun with James when they're drunk. Sober he can't stand him.)

Bad Habits: Edison is definitely considered an alcoholic. Connecticut was one of the two states that never ratified the 18th amendment that banned alcohol from being sold in the state. He is able to start drinking from the moment he wakes up until he goes to bed by drinking until he catches a buzz and then taking a small break until hes somewhat sober again to continue. He basically mastered this method. The only times he gets wasted is when hes at parties or hanging out with a group of friends. Wherever he goes he brings a flask, which usually has some sort of strong alcohol in it, so he can catch a buzz anywhere. Edison doesn't see his addiction as a problem and refuses to acknowledge it as one. He won't stop anytime soon.

Interests
Talents: He's really good at sewing especially with a sewing machine. The first patent for a sewing machine was procured in Connecticut. He uses his skill mostly to fix clothes. He sometimes makes outfits for his dog too.
Favorite Color: Azure Blue. Most of the state flag of Connecticut contains this color.
Favorite Animal: Edison's favorite animal of all time is the sperm whale, the state animal. It makes him upset when others make fun of him for it.
Favorite Food(s): Seafood (Lobsters, Crabs, Shrimp, Fish, anything) Connecticut is known for having good seafood. It's one of his favorite things to eat. He especially loves Oysters which Connecticut is the second largest oyster producer in the nation. Its even the state shellfish.
Edison also likes hamburgers as a more casual meal. Connecticut was home to the first hamburger. He believes he makes them the best and enjoys making them for barbecues.
His favorite candies are PEZ and Lollipops. PEZ candy is made in the city of Orange, CT and the first lollipop making machine was opened in the state in 1908. He has a huge sweet tooth and although he wants to eat healthy he just can't resist eating the two candies daily.
Though he loves candy he still loves fruits like pears and peaches. He also likes mushroom, all of which CT leads the nation in production.
For breakfast his go to are eggs which again CT leads the country in production. He likes all the ways eggs can be cooked but his favorite is sunny side up.
Favorite Drink(s): Edison's favorite drinks are all alcoholic. He loves all kind of liquor but he mostly drinks wine.
Favorite Flower: Mountain Laurel. The state flower.
Favorite Sports/Teams: Edison isn't that into sports. He used to be into hockey until his team relocated to another state.

-Parties. Edison prefers the backyard type parties over the loud indoor ones or even proper ones.
-Fishing. Fishing is a popular sport in Connecticut. Edison enjoys fishing in the summers.
-Hiking. Edison doesn't go hiking too often, maybe once a year, but he enjoys it every time. Hiking is a fun pass time in the state and tourists usually go on them when visiting.
-Money. Connecticut is the 4th wealthiest state in the country. It was also once the first in the 1990s. Edison is more careful not to waste his money but usually ends up doing so anyway. What he sees as "needs" aren't necessarily needs although he says otherwise.
-Boats. Boating is very popular along the coasts of the state. Connecticut is also home to the worlds largest maritime museum in the entire world. Edison loves boats so much. Being out on the water is relaxing to him.
-Submarines. Edison thinks submarines are the coolest things ever. The Submarine Force Museum in Groton is the official submarine museum of the United States Navy.
-Helicopters. Connecticut was home to the first helicopter in 1939. Edison loves helicopters, he always looks up whenever he hears one and loves taking rides in them. He memorized the names of most of them and will show off his knowledge of them every chance he gets.
-The F4U Corsair. The State aircraft of Connecticut. It was built in the state around 1940. Edison likes other aircrafts as well but the F4U is definitely his favorite.
-Casinos. Connecticut is home to the second largest casino in the United States. He doesn't go that often but he does enjoy himself when he does.
-Books/Going to the Library. The Scoville Memorial Library is the oldest public library in the United States. Edison finds libraries peaceful and can finish a book in one sitting.
Dislikes: Edison really doesn't like it when people curse around him. He used to curse a lot until he realized some people are offended by it so he doesn't do it anymore. He's gotten used to bad words since his friends have huge pottymouths but he still doesn't like it.
Edison also dislikes it when people call him "Ed". He doesn't find the nickname proper enough and prefers people to call him by his full name.

-A small yacht. He uses it mostly in the summer. Edison loves his yacht and takes good care of it. He often worries about it in the winter. He sometimes hosts parties on it.

Factual:
-He reads the newspaper daily. Connecticut is home to the oldest US newspaper that is still being published. It also has over 140 newspapers being published this includes daily, sunday, weekly, and monthly. Edison likes to stay updated on current events.
-Still uses a Polaroid camera. Its for aesthetic reasons. Connecticut is home to the first Polaroid camera. Ed takes it to certain events and keeps all the pictures he takes, either hanging them up or putting them away in a box.
-Really slow driver. People from Connecticut drive slow. Plus, when the automobile law was passed in CT the speed limit was 12mph. He don't care if other people hate his driving he just wants to get to his destination safely.
-Owns a few guns but denies their existence. The first revolver was produced in Connecticut but in present day gun laws are very strict in the state. He keeps them in a gun safe and doesn't open it for anyone no matter how much they beg him.
-Really dislikes the George Bush jokes. George W. Bush is the only president from CT.
-Vacuums his house every single day, probably sometimes twice a day. He's a neat freak and also the first vacuum cleaner was designed in CT. It helps make his home look clean he doesn't like all the dog hair laying around either.
-Has an appreciation for art and visits art museums often. The first public art museum was established in Connecticut in 1842. He mostly goes by himself but he also enjoys bringing his friends with him. His favorite is when his friends take him to art museums in their own state.
-Can beat anyone at scrabble. Knows a bunch of big words and sometimes uses them in sentences. The author of the first published dictionary was born in CT.
-Writes his name on a lot of his belongings. Farmers in Connecticut were required by law to brand all their pigs. This is where cattle branding originated.
-Had an awful bowl haircut as a child. In Colonial New Haven cut pumpkins were used as guides for haircuts. Some states that remember it still tease him about it.
-Always carries around a box of matches. The first friction matches were made in Beacon Falls.

-Owns a couple hoverboards. Sometimes rides around his house on one. He knows he probably looks stupid but he thinks they're pretty cool.
-Has a lot of framed pictures around his house. Most of them are of him with his friends and sister.

-Only curses around close friends. He likes to keep it clean around everyone else.
-Children don't like him which makes Edison avoid them at all costs.
